You may call it a bug but many Moto G (All Gen) users, after upgrading to Android Lollipop are facing this issue of having a Exclamation mark in front of WiFi icon in the notification bar even if the Internet in connected and working fine. Well, Exclamation mark in front of WiFi icon appears when your Internet connected through Wifi isn’t working but with the Moto G , Moto G2 or Moto G3 the case is different. Sometimes, even if your Wifi is working fine, it will still show the Exclamation mark.

There isn’t any fix yet but this bug can be solved with a very strange yet simple solution. Follow the procedure below:
- Turn off your Mobile.
- Interchange the Sim slots. That is, interchange the sim with each other. Put your Sim 1 in the other slot in which your Sim 2 is currently Inserted and put your Sim 2 in the slot in which Sim 1 was previously Inserted.
- Turn on your mobile and you will notice that the issue will be solved.
The reason is still not known but this trick has worked for most of the Moto G users.
I only have one Sim slot and i took it out and put it back in and it didn’t work
Impossible – one slot is for a micro Sim so the other one won’t fit in.
