How to Access Blocked Websites in 2020 (Working)

It can be very frustrating if your country is against some of the websites and your ISP has blocked the access to some of your favorite websites. However, even though your ISP has blocked such sites, there are still many ways by which you can easily access blocked websites.

Recently in India, many censored content sites are blocked by ISPs after the Govt. orders. Whenever you’ll try to access those blocked sites, you will get a notice like:

“Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Please contact administrator for more information.”

However, you might also have noticed that if you try Hard Refreshing your browser (Ctrl+F5) for 4-5 times, the website may work for a while but not for so long. In order to bypass blocked websites, here are few ways:

• Using Online Proxy Website

   

  This is one of the easiest ways to access blocked websites. There are tons of Online Proxy Websites on Internet. Just simply, go to those websites, enter your blocked website URL in their own URL bar and then click Surf.

• Using TOR Browser (Tor Project) (Recommended)

   

  TOR Project or TOR Browser is a web browser which allows you to access websites without revealing your identity. This will also allow you to access any blocked website. You can download TOR Browser from their official site. Install the TOR browser on your computer and run. After running for the first time, the browser will take some time to configure. After that, it will be just like your Firefox or a normal browser.NOTE: If you are facing some flash problems while viewing the videos on TOR Browser like:

  Simply click on the red “-” sign. TOR will show a notification near the address bar. Click on ” Allow and Remember”.

There are various other ways such as using a VPN Service, manual proxies in your browser but the above ways are pretty simple for any user.
