How to Recharge Your Mobile through SMS

It may not be possible for you to go to the mobile recharge shop all the time. Most of the time, you are short of mobile balance when you’re travelling somewhere or you are in a place where there are no mobile recharge shops. All you need to have is an account on MobiKwik and their mobile app which you can download from Google PlayStore. Once you have an account on MobiKwik, make sure you add some balance using Internet Banking or Debit/Credit Card.

Now once you’ve completed the above process, here are the steps to recharge your mobile through SMS. You need to have balance for at least 1 SMS. (60 Paise-1Rupee)

  • Send an SMS to 9211-060-000 with the following message
    RC  <amount>  <number>
    

    For example if you want to do a bsnl , idea  or airtel online recharge for Rs 50, follow this pattern:

        RC  50  7896512345
  • Wait for the confirmation. Make sure you have sufficient funds in your MobiKwik wallet only then this mode will work. Also,make sure the number you are using to send SMS is the primary number connected to your MobiKwik account.

This is probably the best option for such emergency situations so always keep your MobiKwik wallet with some emergency balance .
