Samsung the leading manufacturers of Android and smartphones introduced the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 a year after the Samsung Galaxy Note. The huge popularity of the Samsung Galaxy Note led to the introduction of the Galaxy Note 2. Ever since its launch in the market, the sales for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 have skyrocketed.
Design
The blazing fast Galaxy Note 2 is sleek and slim but a tad bit longer. It resembles a bigger sized version of the Samsung Galaxy S3. However the big size reflects the power the phone can deliver. It is an extremely powerful phone and packs in a great deal of apps and programs.
Display
The touch screen is an AMOLED one and measures 5.5 inches in length. The picture clarity and quality is amazing that watching a movie on the phone will seem like watching it on a big screen. It has a pixel resolution of 1280×720 and a 16:9 true aspect ratio. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 also features the “S Pen” which was first introduced by the Samsung Galaxy Note. It is the unique stylus designed by Samsung that enables the user to draw and write. The stylus works on a pressure sensitive device which works only when little pressure is applied. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 however has upgraded the S pen which is now available in different tip sizes. This new and improved S pen is far easier and smoother to use.
Air View technology
There is also a unique feature called the “Air View” which enables the user to browse the phone suing the S pen without actually touching the screen. Just by hovering your stylus over the screen you can browse the phone, record movies, dial, and take pictures, etc. without blocking the view. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 also allows user to write and draw on pictures and photos thus making it a complete digital notepad.
Camera
The camera is 8 MP and the clarity of the pictures and videos shot by it is simply amazing. The amazing LED flash lets you take pictures even in dark environments. If someone is into photography then this phone will be appreciated by him or her. There is also a front camera of 2 MP for video chatting.
Processor and memory
The Galaxy Note 2 is also one of the very first phones to run the newest Android OS v4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is now smoother and much more user friendly and the best looking version yet. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 packs in a powerful quad core processor of 1.6 GHZ of memory clock speed. In addition to a 2 GB RAM, it is one of the fastest processing phones in the market.
